es, guests are welcome to bring alcohol on our Alaska fishing charters, and it is encouraged when enjoyed responsibly. You may bring a cooler for your beverages or chill drinks in a bucket of fresh Alaskan seawater while out on the water.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that guests avoid glass containers and keep things respectful and classy throughout the trip. Please drink responsibly so everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable fishing experience.
Gratuity is not required but is always appreciated by our hardworking crew. The standard gratuity for Alaska fishing charters typically ranges from 15 to 20 percent, based on the level of service and your overall experience.
Our captains and crew work hard to provide a safe, productive, and memorable day on the water, from navigating local fishing grounds to assisting with gear, fish handling, and overall trip experience. Tips are always at the guest’s discretion and a great way to say thank you for excellent service.
All of our Alaska fishing charters are scheduled as full day trips lasting approximately 8 to 10 hours. Trip length may vary depending on weather conditions, sea state, and safety considerations, as your safety and comfort are always our top priority.
When the fish cooperate and we hit our limits early, we take it as a win and cruise back to the harbor soaking in the Alaska views and the satisfaction of a successful day. Every trip is designed to make the most of the day while delivering a safe, productive, and memorable fishing experience.
We require 60 days notice for guest initiated cancellations to allow us adequate time to rebook the charter date. As a family owned and operated Alaska fishing charter, we understand that special circumstances can arise and will always do our best to work with guests on a case by case basis.
Any charters cancelled by us due to weather conditions, vessel issues, or crew concerns will receive a 100 percent full refund. Safety is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding when conditions require changes.
Yes. A 50 percent deposit is required to hold your Alaska fishing charter date, with the remaining balance due one week prior to the day of your trip.
Our booking system, FareHarbor, will automatically process the remaining balance using the card on file. If you prefer to use a different form of payment, please let us know in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
No experience is required to join our Alaska fishing charters. Our trips are well suited for both beginners and seasoned anglers alike. One of our favorite parts of the job is sharing our love of fishing, teaching new skills, and helping guests build confidence on the water while creating memorable experiences for anglers of all levels.
Guests are welcome to keep their legal catch from our Alaska fishing charters. Filleting is included in the cost of the charter. We are happy to provide guidance on local fish processing options to help you take your catch home.
We recommend Homer Fish Processing for professional packaging, freezing, shipping, or preparing your fish to fly with you. There is no need to coordinate with the processor ahead of time. Your captain will contact them as we head back to the harbor to ensure a smooth and seamless drop off.
